Antalya Green Canyon Boat Trip

Admire the gorgeous emerald green clean waters of Green Canyon Lake! The colour is truly mesmerising and is a true beauty from nature. Everything from the olive green lake to the rich green plantation will take your breath away with its dreamy scenery. You will be able to enjoy this piece of paradise on foot as you journey around the canyon and appreciate the landscape from the panoramic platform, and from on the water as you travel by boat on the emerald green lake and through the twisty caverns, down the river and look up amazed at the towering pine tree forests that border the water. There is a chance to see many local wildlife here too; from grazing mountain goats to soaring eagles! The Green Canyon has viewing platforms where you can look out over the gorgeous, serene landscape, admiring its heavy forest, windy rivers and peaceful atmosphere. There are lots of local wildlife hidden within the canyon, and as well as pine forest there are lots of olive groves, orange and pomegranate trees which not only look very pleasing on the eye but the scent they carry is amazing too. Last but certainly not least, the day will be finished off perfectly with swim stops where you can jump into the inviting warm sage green water!

This relaxing and nature infused day out will begin at 08.00 when you will be collected from your accommodation in Antalya. It is approximately a 1 hour journey to reach the Green Canyon and along the way you will be able to look out onto the beautiful terrain that Türkiye has to offer. Once you arrive at the Canyon you will witness its breathtaking beauty and be charmed by its serenity. The rich plantation and deep forest provide cooling fresh air, which is very welcomed on a hot Turkish summer day! 

You are welcome to spend this time at the Green Canyon exploring the surroundings on foot or sunbathing in the cooling breeze. Soon it will be time to meet back up with your group on the pier where you will board a spacious boat in anticipation of a cruise down the emerald green river! Feeling the wind in your hair and looking out onto the beautiful landscape you will feel very content and happy. The various shades of green all mixing is somewhat an amazing view to feast your eyes on! The already green lake reflects the green plantation in a magical way. There will be opportunities to have a swim in the lake too as designated swim spots. Jump into the refreshing water and feel your senses come alive as you plunge into the revitalizing water! If you don’t fancy swimming then it is no problem, you can take your space back on the deck and sunbathe, read your book or chat away with friends.

After a pleasant morning in the canyon, it will be time for lunch. A delightful and delicious meal will be served up for you to enjoy, made from fresh and local produce. Admire the charming environment whilst you are eating your lunch. This peaceful setting is the perfect place to enjoy some wind down time and taste the mouthwatering flavours.

Finishing lunch and taking your seats back on the deck, the boat will lift her anchor and set sail again. On the way there will be another swimming stop where you can enjoy splashing around and cooling off. The guide will also be telling you some cool facts, stories and legends that surround the canyon and a harmonious lake. Taking in the view as you go along, it will be time to head back to the pier and dismount the boat. From the pier a team member will welcome you off the boat and drive you back safely to your hotel in Antalya, with a camera full of beautiful photos and a memory full of happiness!
