Your amazing journey starts early in the morning between 8:30am and 9:00am depending on your hotel location. A comfortable, air-conditioned bus will pick you up and head towards the beautiful Green Canyon.
You will be taken to the place where the motor ship departs. You will take your places in it and admire the fabulous water surface and picturesque surrounding nature. You’ll have two stops along the way so you can swim in the emerald waters of the canyon. You’ll also make a stop at a lakeside restaurant where you’ll be treated to a hearty and delicious lunch. After that, your wonderful journey continues.
Your journey takes place on a comfortable double-decker boat that can accommodate up to 150 people. There is everything for your convenience: showers and toilets, dressing rooms and a bar. In it you can order any soft drink for yourself (Pepsi, Cola, Sprite, Fanta, coffee, tea and water). This is included in the price of your tour.
A mighty dam built in 1984 with the help of specialists from Switzerland formed a lake with a size of 479 hectares. A hydroelectric power station with four turbines was also built nearby. After it powered the aluminum plant, it now stops working. 27 rivers from the Taurus Mountains flow into the lake. You will be amazed by its depth, on average it reaches 130 meters and even more in some places. You’ll probably want to take a refreshing dip in these emerald-colored waters, but remember that the water temperature doesn’t exceed 12 degrees and this is a constant value regardless of the time of year. Even on the hottest summer days you will feel cool here.
The reservoir got its name for several reasons: because of the emerald water and also because of the mountain slopes covered with dense light green vegetation.

During your walk on Lake Oymapinar, you will have two 30-minute stops so you can swim in its emerald crystal clear waters. Life jackets are therefore provided for your safety.
