Early in the morning, a comfortable bus will pick you up from your hotel and you will go on a fantastic journey to the region of Turkey with a unique landscape – Cappadocia. On the first day of the trip, you will visit the ancient city of Konya, known for its religious culture, the city of Aksaray, where you will visit the underground city of Saratly and have lunch in the Caravanserai of the 13th century. In the ancient city of Avanos, the center of pottery, you will visit a workshop with beautiful ceramics. At the very beginning of your journey, you will have a short stop in the ancient city of Akseki for breakfast. Akseki is a city that has been inhabited since ancient times by Persians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, after being settled by the Turks, became part of the Ottoman Empire. You can take your breakfast from your hotel and eat it while enjoying the views of this ancient city, or have breakfast at one of the local restaurants.
Konya is an ancient city with more than 9500 years of history from the time of the Hittites and the Roman Empire to the present day. It is the spiritual center of Turkey. The famous Persian poet, mystic and Sufi Muhammad Mustafa Jalal ad-Din – Rumi lived here. He became the founder of the Sufi monastery and order of the Dervishes, as well as the dervish rotation ritual – Sema, which includes music, dance and prayer. In 1925, during the reign of Ataturk, the Sufi orders were abolished, and the Rumi monastery was turned into a museum. It was originally a Roman city, in 1071 it was conquered by the Seljuk Turks and in 1570 it was annexed to the Ottoman Empire. Not far from the city of Aksaray is one of the most famous underground cities of Cappadocia – the city of Saratly. This ancient underground city consists of 5 huge rooms connected by corridors and tunnels.

Continuing your journey, you will find yourself in the ancient city of Avanos. This city is also called the city of potters, since many millennia ago, back in Hittite times, they began to process clay here, which was mined in the longest river in Turkey (800 km) – Kyzylyrmak, which flows through Avanos.
Now this city is the center of pottery in Turkey. Local master potters process it and make truly wonderful products – masterpieces of ceramic art, known throughout Turkey, as well as in many other countries.
