With its bright, vivid and colourful displays complimented by the fragrant scents, the Spice Bazaar will grab your attention and leave you curious about what Aladdin treasures it has inside! For a perfect finish to a flawless day, you will spend your evening being wined, dined and entertained in the beautiful setting of the Bosphorus River. This cruise is phenomenal as it takes you calmly down the river, admiring the sights from both sides of Istanbul whilst enjoying a delicious meal and being entertained by the traditional and highly praised dance team!

As there are so many wonderful sights to fit into your day trip to Istanbul, you will be picked up at a pre-arranged time from your hotel in the early hours of the morning. You will be transported to Antalya airport where your travel representative will greet you and you will board the plane to fly directly into Istanbul. The friendly, experienced and knowledgeable travel guide will firstly take you to visit the grand Blue Mosque. You will be in awe as you enter the mosque and admire its thousands of blue decorative tiles. Please note that women should cover their hair with a simple scarf, and men should wear shorts below their knees. As you enter, you will experience the holiness and peace in the atmosphere. The guide will tell you all that you need to know about this majestic Ottoman Mosque.

Next stop is at the Hippodrome. Way back when this area was used by Romans, Byzantines and the Ottomans for chariot races, where thousands of people would come along to watch, support and cheer along the men who were competing. The amazing architecture and history are well preserved and you will enjoy having a look around and marvelling at this masterpiece.

Another amazing landscape that is important in Istanbul is the German fountain. This fountain was a gift to a sultan, and it has certainly stood the test of time; it is well preserved and has been around for many centuries. Ready for a little wander round and to explore on your own, you will have some free time to look around the famous Sultan Ahmet Square. The square is loaded with lots of little shops just enticing you in with their unique items. Local cafes are easy to find where you can try some homemade and tasty dishes or sweet treats. There is lots of to see and do in this area, although it is busy a lot of people find it relaxing, even grabbing a Turkish tea and sitting people watching in the busy center!

It will then be time to meet up again with your guide who will take you to the very big and very glamorous Topkapi Palace! This is perhaps one of the eldest and most significant landmarks in Istanbul. It was inhabited by the Ottoman Sultans for over 400 years and you will feel the significance when you are there. Remember to have your camera handy and take lots of photos! The friendly guide will inform you of interesting facts surrounding this majestic building.

Next up is a big favourite among tourists and locals alike in Istanbul- The Grand Spice Bazaar! The colours and scents alone will entice you inside where you will find not only spices but also: tea, coffee, Turkish delights, herbal remedies, dried fruit and nuts, baklava and much more. There are free samples so you can try before you buy. Enjoy getting into the spirit and haggling for some bargains!

All shopped out, it will be time to head on the Bosphorous River Cruise. This splendid evening is spent peacefully going down the famous river, admiring views from both sides of Istanbul whilst enjoying a delicious meal made up from Turkish and International cuisine. Whilst you eat, you will be entertained by a professional dance team who will wow you with traditional Turkish folklore dancing.

Finishing off your day out perfectly, you will leave Istanbul and fly back into Antalya airport on a happy high from your experience. A transfer vehicle will be waiting for you at Antalya airport who will then safely take you back to your accommodation.
