Balloon flights are conducted early in the morning, before the thermals (vertical air currents) begin. You will be picked up from your hotel before sunrise. The exact time will be communicated to you the day before the flight. The time you will be picked up from your hotel depends on the hour of the morning. It varies from season to year. For example, in winter a transfer will arrive for you around 6:00 am, in summer you will be picked up from your hotel at 4:30-5:00 am.
Transfer: From your hotel you will get to the launch site. The take-off and landing location depends on the wind direction. The pilot selects a suitable take-off location based on wind direction and speed. But the view of Cappadocia is beautiful from everywhere.
Breakfast: Before your hot air balloon flight in Cappadocia, a delicious Turkish breakfast awaits you to refresh yourself. You will be offered a snack buffet, tea and coffee.
During breakfast you can watch the balloons being prepared for flight.
Briefing: Then head to the hot air balloon and a licensed pilot will give you a pre-flight briefing. All balloons and pilots have all required FAO certifications. The flight crew will help you to board the basket.
A hot air balloon flight in Cappadocia usually lasts about an hour. The entire process (pre-flight preparation, briefing, assembling the balloon, etc.) takes about 3-4 hours.
Usually 10 to 25 people perform a flight on a balloon. If you want to fly in a hot air balloon in a small group, you can take a private tour with a capacity of up to 3 people in one basket.
Hot Air Balloon Ride: After careful guidance, the balloon slowly rises into the air. The takeoff is so smooth that most passengers don’t even notice it.
The entire hot air balloon flight takes place at different altitudes. It depends on the wind. The maximum height to which the balloon rises is 1000 meters. And sometimes the pilot can lower the balloon so low that you feel like you could touch the fabulous rocks of Cappadocia with your hand.

You will meet the dawn as you sail over fabulous valleys, ancient rock fortresses and fairy chimneys. Landing: Balloons always fly downwind. Therefore, you never know exactly where they will end up. The balloon flight is always accompanied by a car. The balloon pilot remains in contact with the vehicle. After the flight, the balloon and passengers are taken to the launch site by car.

Return to the Hotel: After the 7:30am to 8:00am celebration, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
