You will go to one of the most beautiful, but at the same time enigmatic valleys of Cappadocia – the Red Valley. Here you will visit the famous cave winery Cappadocia. The history of viniculture in Cappadocia dates back to 5,000 BC. BC back. and winemaking is 2,000 BC. Wine is stored and aged in caves made of tufa, not in cellars as are common around the world. Some wines can mature for up to 60 years. Wine in Cappadocia has a bitter, earthy aftertaste, both white and red. It’s about the lava soils on which the grapes grow.
You will first visit the old winery and taste different wines. Afterwards, head to Rote Tal to enjoy two bottles of wine with delicious appetizers.
Sitting comfortably on a high hill with a glass of exquisite aromatic wine, you will see a magnificent, enchanting panoramic view of the Cappadocia valleys. In the rays of the setting sun, the rocks of the valleys look beautiful, and the color of the rocks slowly changes from strawberry pink to crimson. You can take many stunning photos from this incredible view.

Wine tasting in Cappadocia begins just before sunset with a comfortable bus that will pick you up from your hotel and drive to one of the most beautiful valleys in Cappadocia – the Red Valley. In this beautiful valley you will taste two types of wine: red wine and white wine. You will greet the sunset and become one with nature while tasting traditional Cappadocian wine made from grapes grown in local valleys.
The Red Valley is named after its red rocks. The length of the valley is 1.5 kilometers, and on its territory there are a large number of mysterious tunnels, steep cliffs and a fabulously beautiful landscape. Various grapes have been cultivated in the Red Valley since ancient times. Traveling along you may come across vineyards that are grown here.
During the tour you will learn about 4000 years of history of wine industry in Turkey. In modern Cappadocia, grapes are grown on volcanic soil rich in minerals.
