Belek Cappadocia Tour Program

Early in the morning, a comfortable, air-conditioned bus will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the unique region of Turkey – Cappadocia . After prior information, you will receive a lunch box with breakfast at your hotel along the way. There is a stop in Akseki town where you can have a snack. On the first day of your trip you will see the most religious city – Konya. Then drive to the small town of Aksaray , where you will admire the largest caravan – the Saray and the unique underground city of Saratly.

And in the city of potters, Avanos, you have the opportunity to visit a real pottery workshop. The Valley of Imagination is the next point of your journey. The fortified city of Uchisar will delight you with its panorama, and the Pashabag Valley will delight you with its unusual “mushrooms”. Before checking into the hotel, you will find yourself in the beautiful Goreme Open Air Museum. In the evening, dinner and relaxation await. In the morning, having breakfast at the hotel, return to Belek. Along the way, you’ll stop at the scenic Three Beauties Cliffs, where you’ll take beautiful photos and visit an onyx shop and a leather goods shop. In the evening, around 8:00 p.m., you will arrive at your hotel.

Akseki

An ancient city inhabited by Greeks, Romans, Persians and Byzantines before becoming part of the Ottoman Empire. It is very interesting for its unusual structures made of stone and wood using special mounts. Here you can have breakfast from your lunch box provided at the hotel or order something from a local cafe.

Avanos

After lunch, drive to the town of Avanos, situated on the banks of Turkey’s longest river, Kizilirmak. Due to the fact that clay is always at hand here, local people started making pottery since Hittite times. To this day, the city is known for the fact that masterpieces of ceramics are created here. You will definitely visit a pot factory where experienced craftsmen will show you the technology of making dishes. And you can also try this craft yourself.

Devrent

The Valley of Imagination, as it is also called. The most original and original. Stones of bizarre different shapes are collected here. If you use your imagination a little, the stones will seem to come to life and you will see doves, camels and many more different creatures. Under the influence of wind, sun and rain, the rocks took on unusual shapes that now amaze you. The valley has never been inhabited by humans, there are no man-made temples, but it is extremely popular and attractive nonetheless. The landscape created by nature seems to take you to another planet.

Uchisar

You will reach the highest point in Cappadocia. The city of Uchisar is translated as “Three Fortresses”. The fortress is a tuff in which excavations have made tunnels, rooms and windows. The fortress was 60 meters high and the highest in Cappadocia. It even had its own water supply. If you climb to the top, you will be amazed by the magnificent view of the entire valley.

Pashabag

A beautiful and amazing valley where you will see stone pillars between the vineyards. Pasha’s Vineyards, that’s how this name translates. Despite the fact that during your trip you have already seen a lot of different stone rocks, but only here they have an unusual shape. Like all stones in Cappadocia, they are of volcanic origin, but there is a peculiarity of these places. You can admire the fabulous chimneys that have two and sometimes even three peaks. Monks lived in these natural monuments, so there is another name for the valley – the Valley of Monks. You will be amazed by the beautiful church, located in one of the three domed rocks. Church of St. Simeon. You can see the cell where the monk lived as well as the chapel. The unique landscape will inspire you to take beautiful photos. During this stop, you can visit a liquor store and see how pottery is made. If you want, you can buy the product you want.

Goreme

You will enjoy the amazing architectural monuments of the most famous monastic complex. Goreme Open Air Museum will impress you with its churches, monasteries and cells. In the 1st century, devout Christians fled here, pursued by Jerusalem’s official authorities. You will see 10 unusual churches built in Byzantine style but with a Cappadocian leaning. Many churches have preserved unique frescoes that you can see.

Goreme Museum Complex will be remembered for its buildings and strong energy. This is the end point of the first day of the excursion. Then check into the hotel and eat before bed.

Three Beauties

After waking up and having breakfast, return to Belek. Your path will pass through stone statues with the interesting name “Three Beauties”. Located just off the highway near the town of Urgup, they are a symbol of Cappadocia. There are many legends about this rock. And their beauty and originality surprise everyone. You will definitely want to capture these porcini mushrooms on your camera.
