A comfortable bus will pick you up from your hotel between 07:30 and 08:00. The journey takes just over an hour and the guide will tell you how the excursion will go along the way. The road leads along the serpentines of the Taurus Mountains. Along the way, you will come across fragments of an ancient Roman three-tiered aqueduct that once supplied water to the residents of the city of Side.
Your motor ship departs at 10:00 am from the pier where the transfer will take you. You will take a 5-hour walk along the magically beautiful Oymapinar Lake, stopping for a hearty lunch of chicken kebabs, assorted snacks, rice and salad. You can also swim in the lake for half an hour before and after lunch.

You will sail on a comfortable modern motor ship equipped with everything you need. At the end of the 20th century, according to the project of Soviet architects, a huge dam was built, which for 7 years filled 500 hectares of land with water to a depth of more than 100 meters. Depending on the season, you will witness the lush flowering of tangerines, oranges, almonds or heavy fruits of pomegranates, olive groves, giant cacti that seem completely unreal, the fruits of which you can even taste!
The total length of the route is 14 kilometers, every minute of which will bring you indescribable aesthetic pleasure. In the transparent thickness of the deep emerald waters, you will see fish gleaming in the sun and magnificent eagles soaring to the sky, hoping to delight in the expanses of sea creatures. Clouds hang over the gorge and fall on the tops of the rocks that surround this place.

During the trip you will stop twice to swim in the lake. Swimming in a high mountain reservoir significantly increases the level of adrenaline in your body, the water in the lake is cold, it does not warm up above 12 degrees Celsius even in summer. This is certainly not a baptismal hole, but the temperature is sobering and refreshing. The die-hards will love it!
For those who dive into cool water for the first time, it is recommended to use the life jackets available on the ship, which everyone can use absolutely free of charge. And to quickly change into dry clothes after swimming and not get too cold, there are changing rooms and showers on board.
Have you noticed that your appetite is much better in the fresh air? During the tour, you’ll stop at a quaint lakeside restaurant serving local cuisine.
