ALanya Pamukkale Hot Air Balloon Tour Program

As the aim is to enjoy the sunrise in Pamukkale, you will be picked up from your accommodation in the early hours, in a comfortable car that will take you on your journey. The vehicle is fully air conditioned, spacious and relaxing so you can catch up on your sleep on the way during the 3 hour journey. Once you arrive in Pamukkale, you will be greeted by the captain of your hot air balloon who will then give you a full safety explanation and you will learn any dos and don’ts before you enter the balloon. Once the ride begins, the balloon will float up into the sky at the same time as the sun rises, creating a dreamy atmosphere. The skies colours look amazing in the background of the “cotton castles” and this landscape image will stay with you for a lifetime.

Along with the sunrise you will celebrate and welcome in the new morning with a champagne toast. This magical and unique experience will be imprinted on your memories for a lifetime. Once the balloon descends after 1 hour and you reach the land, it will be time for breakfast! You will have 5 hours to spend at your will, exploring the beautiful place that is Pamukkale. The natural thermal springs invite you to walk in them, they are naturally heated and also have lots of minerals and healing properties. Hierapolis is breathtaking from both bird’s eye view and up close. The towering columns and intricate decorations are charming and really interesting to see up close.

Further along inside Pamukkale is Cleopatra’s pool. The bubbling natural hot springs is said to resemble champagne, and legend has it that Egyptian Queen Cleopatra herself swam here; after all, she was gifted this magnificent pool as a wedding gift. Adding to the authenticity of Cleopatra’s pool is the fact that fallen ruins have remained untouched and still lie at the bottom of the pool. For an extra fee you can swim in Cleopatra’s pool and not only soak up the health benefits, but get up close and personal with the ruins.

Feeling satisfied and happy it will be time to go for lunch. The meal will be freshly prepared at Tamer Restaurant where you will be served delicious dishes that have been made using local produce. After lunch it will be time to start the 3 hour journey back to Alanya. Along the way you will stop at a local winery where you can have a wine tasting session and will be able to purchase any of the wines that you sampled.

Finally, after a wonderful time seeing one of Türkiye’s natural treasures, you will arrive at your hotel back in Alanya.
