You’ve enjoyed the sights of Antalya on foot, perhaps even by boat- so what do you say to soaking up the magnificent views on offer from high up in the sky in a cable car?! This is the perfect opportunity to cast your eyes on a panoramic view of the city, taking in glimpses of historical landmarks, the gorgeous blue sea, cosy coastlines, daring cliffs, sweet valleys and lush green jungle-like pine forests! From the very top of Olympos Mountains, 2365 metres (about 1.47 mi) high to be precise, you will be able to grasp the sheer beauty of Antalya, all whilst enjoying a fun and thrill inducing cable car ride! Antalya Olympos Cable Car Tour is the perfect mixture for thrill seekers who enjoy culture and mother nature!
The length of the cable tour is a staggering 4359 metres long for the return journey and you will certainly have your breath taken away as you soar first above pine forests before reaching the starker mountainside of the summit. As the landscape changes below you, so likely will the weather. You will find the summit somewhat cooler than the warm Antalya climate and it has even been known to snow there in the winter months.
As you step out onto the walkway at the top you will be greeted by giant statues of Zeus and Athena. There are several mountains throughout Greece and Türkiye named Olympos and it is debatable as to which one is being referred to as home of the Gods, however it is not hard to imagine why they were referred to as such, as you look out from the apex with views spreading for miles!

The cable car was modern, well-maintained and the ride was slow enough to take photos. The views from the top were perfect, we saw the city and the sea. There was also a café and souvenir shop at the top, overall it was a top experience for the views.
The cable car ride was the highlight of my trip, the guide was amazing and made sure everyone was well taken care of.
