Saklıkent is the longest gorge in Turkey, and believe me, it has a bewitching view. This place is called “Hidden Valley” or “Lost City”. Not so long ago, in 1996, a national park was founded here.
The river Eshen flows along the bottom of the gorge, if you wish, you can even swim in the very cold waters of this river. If swimming in ice water is not to your taste, then you can visit shops, souvenir shops or have a cup of tea in a local cafe.
But the most interesting, of course, is a walk along the gorge itself, as well as a visit to about 16 caves, whose origin arose in the Roman era and they were used mainly as a refuge.
This city is famous for its numerous ruins and ruins of ancient Lycia. The main attraction of Tlos is the Acropolis, and above it are Lycian tombs carved into the rock.
The amphitheater has also been preserved, as well as the ruins of the stadium, Roman baths, gymnasium and much more. Tlos was once an amazingly beautiful city. Particularly impressive is the panorama from the top of the Acropolis, from here you can observe the marvelous Xanthos Valley.
Here your walk will last about 90 minutes, during which you will have time to see the main sights of the ancient Lycian city and get acquainted with the historical and cultural heritage of Turkey.
Yakapark is a very famous place for recreation for both locals and tourists. The park has a fairly large area, where there are pools, and waterfalls, and water channels, as well as many areas for recreation.
A tempting place for all tourists is the fish restaurant, where delicious dishes are prepared from fresh trout, which are bred here on a trout farm. Here you can relax and enjoy Turkish cuisine, as well as taste local Turkish beer.
After your meal, you can take a walk and see how beautiful the world around you is and even watch the animals in the area.
So it’s time to return back from the excursion Oludeniz Saklikent Gorge Tour, we are sure that you will be satisfied with this trip, because we will show the most beautiful and exciting places located very close to the resort of Fethiye.
