Kemer Balloon Tour Program

All flights take place at dawn, so a comfortable bus will pick you up from your hotel at around 10:00 p.m. the day before and you will drive to the unique region of Pamukkale. The departure times from the hotel may vary slightly depending on the time of year and sunrise, you will be informed of this in advance.

You will be taken to the launch site. The start is around 5:00 in the morning. Before the flight you will receive detailed instructions on how to behave on board. After a detailed briefing, you will be helped to get into the basket and take your seats.

After landing, a transport will be waiting for you to take you to the take-off site. You celebrate this event with a glass of champagne and receive a balloon flight certificate.

Then you can take a sightseeing tour of Pamukkale. When you get tired of walking around the area, you will be taken back to Kemer by the same transport.

Briefing: You will observe the entire process of preparing the plane for flight, the moment when the balloon is filled with hot air and rises is particularly interesting. During the preparation of the ball you will receive a detailed briefing. This is carried out by a highly qualified pilot. A balloon can hold up to 25 people at a time. On average, a company consists of 10-25 travelers. The instructor will explain how to behave on board, how to navigate in the basket and react to possible situations such as rain or a bird flown into the basket.

Flight with the Hot Air Balloon: The pilot will help everyone get into the basket and take off! The start will be very slow, you will not feel any fear or discomfort. The balloon’s maximum height is 1 kilometer, but if the weather is favorable, the pilot will descend low enough from the site to allow you to see each attraction. You will be floating in the air for an hour. Simultaneously with you, hundreds of bullets of all shades of the rainbow are shot into the sky against the background of dawn. You will make unique pictures that will win the hearts of your friends and subscribers.

The flight route depends solely on the direction and strength of the wind, so it is impossible to predict it in advance. The flight lasts an average of 1 hour. The landing site is already organized during the flight, when the pilot radios the movement of the balloon to his team members. And they, in turn, are waiting for you in the right place and will take you to the starting point by car. There you will receive an aviation certificate and a compliment in the form of champagne. You can choose to return to your hotel or take a sightseeing tour of Pammukale, after which you will be transferred to your hotel in the evening.

Balloon: Mankind has always dreamed of conquering the air and flying like a bird. For this, thousands of inventions for flying were created. One of these was the balloon, invented by the Montgolfier brothers in 1783.

Modern balloons use the same technology as they did 200 years ago: to fly, the balloon is filled with lighter-than-air gas and a basket is attached to it to hold the passengers. This is a great way to travel with only one downside, the balloon cannot be steered, it all depends on the direction and strength of the wind.

Pamukkale: The word Pamukkale is translated from Turkish as cotton castle. You will understand why, because from above it seems as if you see a large snow-white castle built from hundreds of cotton bolls. And this place is also called Cleopatra’s Basin, because according to legend, the Egyptian queen drew her beauty and youth here.

The Pammukale complex consists of a whole cascade of terraced baths decorated with calcite stalactites. You will have the opportunity to see unique places as Pammukale and the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Ruins of Hierapolis: The city was first founded in the 2nd millennium BC. Built on this site and rebuilt and restored several times after earthquakes. Translated from Greek means Holy City. The city played an important role in the formation of Christianity, in the 80th year one of the 12 apostles, St. Philip, was crucified there. The city was the capital of Rome for 300 years and was also very popular during the Byzantine rule due to the adjacent spa town.

You will see the ruins of the necropolis from a bird’s eye view, the Roman theater, the martyrdom of St. Philip, the temple of Apollo, the temple of Plutonius. All these sights, like the city itself, are priceless in terms of history and art. You will be amazed and simply stunned by what you see!

Landing: The landing site is already organized during the flight, when the pilot radios the movement of the balloon to his team members. And they, in turn, are waiting for you in the right place and will take you to the starting point by car.

There you will receive the aviation certificate and a compliment in the form of champagne from the entire team. You can return to your hotel or book an excursion in Pammukale, after which you will be transferred to your hotel in the evening.
