In the morning after breakfast, a convertible bus will pick you up from your hotel. This is how a wonderful day of excursions begins. With this interesting transport you will visit the magnificent Merkez Kyllie Mosque. Then go to the Turkish village and beautiful landscapes open on the way. In the village you will visit a classic country house.
Next, drive to the ruins of the ancient city of Seleucia and your guide will tell you the history of this settlement. During the trip you will have lunch in a very picturesque place. The next stop on your convertible tour is the Orange Garden, where you will see how citrus fruits grow and are cared for. At the end you will visit Manavgat Waterfall and learn an interesting history of its appearance. Afterwards you will return to the hotel around 17:00.
The main mosque of the city of Manavgat Kulie is magnificent, its decoration is luxurious. Among all mosques in Turkey, it stands out for having a lot of light. As you step inside, you’ll be genuinely surprised at the incredible amount of sunlight falling on the plush carpets from many large and small windows. And in the dark, a chic crystal chandelier lights up under the ceiling, stimulating the imagination.
This is the largest mosque on the entire Anatolian coast and it is not without reason that locals consider it the most beautiful mosque in the country. About four thousand believers can pray in it at the same time. You should be aware that not every mosque opens its doors to people of other faiths and the opportunity that presents itself to you is the exception rather than the rule.
After the mosque, drive to a traditional Turkish village. It will be a very interesting and educational journey. You will visit a real Turkish house where the native people are engaged in agriculture. They will surely spoil you with a cup of invigorating coffee or traditional tea. They show how and in what way the national flatbread is prepared. You will see their home clothes, furniture, household items and interiors. The village fair offers a wide range of handicrafts, organic produce and handicrafts.
Not far from the city of Manavgat, the ancient city of Seleucia is nestled in cozy greenery. Rumor has it that it was a reliable hiding place for pirate residents. The city was founded between 400 and 300 BC. Founded in BC and is perfectly preserved. It offers all lovers of antiquity a very pleasant experience to visit.
The relative integrity of this city has turned into a great success: perfectly preserved agora, Roman baths, a temple will appear before your eyes which, moreover, has undergone some reconstructions that have made it even more beautiful. Your guide will tell you the history of this city and the sad reasons for its decline and you will take many stunning photos.
On the way you will have lunch at one of the very cozy places. Hearty and simple, it will satisfy your hunger, recharge your batteries and prepare you for the second part of the Cabrio Tour.
The road will take you further to the orange garden. And it will be very interesting. Have you ever met people who don’t like deliciously juicy citrus fruits? You may not find such on the entire planet.
Orange has conquered the world, but few people know how it is grown in order to later be sent around the world, how to care for bright fruits, how to harvest them and how to store them. On this trip you are lucky enough to learn all the intricacies of the orange business. You stroll between the slender rows of well-kept plants and enjoy for the umpteenth time the wonderfully deep green color of the crowns and the bright jasmine scent of the orange blossoms.
Not far from the city of Manavgat there is an amazing place that Turks are incredibly proud of and sincerely admire. Artificial Pearl – Manavgat Waterfall. 40 meters wide and only 2 meters high, it carries a jet of water quickly and loudly, with countless splashes forming on its surface every second.
Once created by human hands, it blended perfectly with the natural landscape and became an integral part of this city. The waterfall looks very picturesque. For the convenience of tourists, a two-story observation deck was organized, from which incredible angles for stunning photos open on each floor. Entrance to the waterfall is for an additional fee, but it is very symbolic. You can see this wonder only during the dry months of the year, as the full-flowing Manavgat River comes out of the banks in high water, hiding this threshold from human eyes.
After the refreshing spray of the waterfall, return to your hotel. You will enjoy this ride so much that you will be reluctant to leave the comfortable convertible bus. And feel free to repeat this exciting journey next time.
