Alanya Green Canyon Tour

Jump aboard for one of our unique tours! Alanya Green Canyon Tour takes you to Türkiye’s fourth largest dam, whilst being the only one that allows boats on it! Breathtakingly beautiful, the Green Canyon gets its name with thanks to its clear emerald green waters and towering green pine forest that surrounds it.

This deep and narrow valley is blessed with the mesmerizing green river that cuts through it. Have your camera ready for some picture perfect shots as you are admiring the emerald green water against the towering pine tree forest. Enjoy a walk through the cool and breezy canyon, wander along the shoreline and take in the charm of this unique place. 

The Green Canyon is home to the rare and endangered brown fish owls so be sure to keep your eye open and you may be lucky enough to be blessed to spot one of these magnificent creatures. Soak up the magical atmosphere of the valley by then joining a boat trip and making your way down the glittering green river where you can take in all the sights and even had a dip if you fancy in the warm and inviting clear waters.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Alanya at 08:00 in the morning and then you will embark on the charming trip full of gorgeous scenery and beautiful landscapes. You will be on an open top jeep type mini bus which will whisk you through the gorgeous countryside where you will arrive at the destination of Green Canyon. This picturesque area will charm with its lush green pine forest trees and its emerald green river. It really is a nature lovers paradise. As you walk through the canyon, listen out for the rustling of leaves, the singing of birds and the sound of the water flowing.

You will feel content and at one with nature as you listen and look out on to the back drop of the Taurus Mountains, whilst the warm breeze blows against your skin. Don’t forget to look out for Brown Fish Owls, this species is native to Türkiye and is known to nest in the Green Canyon. However, they are quite rare and are now classed as endangered but what a fantastic luck it would be if you managed to spot one or two!

After you have had a pleasant and memorable walk by the Green Canyon you will then board a spacious boat where you will tour down the Green Lake. The emerald green waters will carry you on the journey down the river where you will have a different perspective of the magnificent view. Get yourself comfy on deck, relax and sit back as you take it all in! You will then stop for a swim break where you will have the chance to enter the warm and tempting green water and have a good splash around and a swim. 

Whilst you are enjoying the captivating waters the crew will be busy preparing you a lovely yummy lunch, which you can enjoy once you are back on deck. Once you are feeling refreshed and full, it is time to carry on the boat trip back to the shore where you will disembark and get yourselves seated on the jeeps again.
